I graduated from Florida State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and have worked in the field of Early Childhood ever since. Throughout the years I have worked with preschool children in many different roles and capacities, including roles of a preschool teacher, program coordinator and assistant director for a national corporate child care company; Early Childhood Education teacher at a local high school, where I managed the lab preschool in addition to teaching the high school students the basics of Early Childhood Education; an Early Childhood Training Specialist working for Nova Southeastern University where I provided training, coaching and technical assistance to preschool directors and teachers seeking to become accredited or improve overall quality of their center; an Inclusion Specialist for the Early Childhood Council providing teachers with strategies and implementation plans to help all children in their care be successful; and my current role of the Director of the best preschool in town- God’s Garden Preschool!
Opening God’s Garden back in 2014 and watching it grow into the school it is today has been the highlight of my professional journey. The hundreds of children and families who have passed through our doors over the past decade have brought immeasurable joy to my life.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband Chris, and my three children, Emma, Jake and Hunter. Emma is in college at Florida Gulf Coast University majoring in Business with a focus in Sports Management. Jake is in college at Mississippi State University where he plays baseball and is majoring in Sports Management. Hunter is a senior at Plant City High School and plays baseball.
Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Florida State University, a Florida Director’s Credential, Early Literacy Micro Credential (in progress) and is a NAC Validator.

God's Garden opened with 55 children and 10 staff and has grown to 120+ children and 24+ staff!
